For many years Ellicottville, NY has been hosting its Women's Weekend in June. The annual event has drawn women from all over to bond, have fun and discover new things about themselves. Why not, Ellicottville is a great little town that has a wide variety of activities to offer. Many of this years events will be held at Holiday Valley Resort for an "Adventure Weekend".
The 2011 Women's weekend is June 10th and 11th. Friday June 10th, 2011. The weekend will begin at 7pm Friday night with a “Tapas” and Wine Tasting welcome reception at the Tannenbaum lodge at Holiday Valley. Sue Kincade will perform live music at the reception. There will also be a “gift bag” distribution to the first 200 ladies that have pre-registered for the event and a cash bar to enjoy while tasting the delicious food prepared by Boston Culinary and socializing with friends.
Saturday morning begins with a fabulous breakfast at the Tannenbaum lodge from 6:30 am to 8am. What a great way to energize for the day! You will need it! There are many activities to participate in; including Yoga, Zumba, Thai Chi and Hiking guided by Finger Lake Trail guides on the hills. The best part of this “Outdoor Adventure” weekend is that your registration fee of $75 also includes full use of HolidayValley’s brand new Sky High Aerial Adventure Park. This is a great value, since the adventure park will typically cost $42 for a 3 hour aerial park session or $55 for a 3 hour aerial park session and all day mountain coaster. The scheduled activities come to a close Saturday afternoon, which leave the perfect opportunity for you and your new friends to shop, hit the spa or dine in downtown Ellicottville.
Ellicottville has great shopping in the eclectic stores, two fantastic spas and some of the fabulous dining, live music and nightlife. There are great jewelry stores, art and decor shops, women's apparel shops, athletic apparel and equipment stores, free trade shops, holistic centers, sock shops, furniture stores, homemade chocolate shops, ice cream cafes and more. Don't forget the Ellicottville Brewing company and the new Ellicottville Winery for some locally hand crafted beer and wine. The Gin Mill, the Double Black Diamond Bar and Grill and Balloon's restaurant will have live entertainment. This weekend is pack full of activities for women to self explore, enjoy things they love and spend time with old and new friends. It truly is a women's weekend!

12pm-1pm Open for lunch
1pm -2pm Zumba at Tannenbaum Lodge
2:30pm-3:30pm Tai Chi
Guided hiking with two levels will be offered at 8:30am and 10:30 am.
Full use of the Sky High Aerial Adventure park will be available throughout the day.
