2011 Christmas Stroll in Ellicottville, New York

Every year the town of Ellicottville kicks off the Holiday Season with the Christmas stroll during the first week of December. The town is decorated in holiday lights, the shops are a glow with great gifts inside and the restaurants are cooking up the tastes of the season. Stroll down the sidewalks sipping on a cup of hot chocolate, latte or coffee and savor the experience.

The town provides a great backdrop to experience a unique old fashioned holiday season, with the turn of the century brick and stone buildings lining the street. Among the many events planned for the event are Santa's arrival, a Living Nativity so authentic you'll be amazed, organ music and tours of St. John's Church kids' ornaments making, cocoa and cookies in Mrs. Claus kitchen , a Christmas Bazaar, wagon rides, candy elves, caroling and live camel strolling around town, display of nativity sets and angels in the Holy Name of Mary Church Hall,  the Reindog Parade and a Living Nativity at the Gazebo. The quaintness of the town and all of the decorated stores, restaurants and shops makes this a event even more memorable. The mountains surrounding this little town make this a picture perfect weekend.
