The Ski High Adventure Park makes Ellicottville, NY and Even Better Summer Destination

Over the next few months the Ski High Adventure park will be a new addition to Holiday Valley Resort. What a great addition to the resort for the summer months. Holiday Valley is truly creating a year - round destination for the entire family!

Over the winter, Holiday Valley Resort announced that it was adding an high wire adventure park in the trees near Tannenbaum along with a mountain coaster. The construction began in February 2011, with the thinning of trees in the area, addition of platforms in the trees and mapping out the course. Later in March, the area near the Spruce Lake lift was being cleared for the mountain coaster. The grand opening is targeted for June of 2011. According to Holiday Valley Resort, there will be individual activity passes as well as combination passes for both activities.

The Ski High adventure park is a great addition to the summer lineup of activities at Holiday Valley Resort and the area surrounding Ellicottville, New York. The resort already has the Double Black Diamond golf course, Mountain bike rentals for the NY state forest trails and the resort trails on top of the mountain, the Falling Waters day spa, the 3 - pool complex and fantastic dining at John Harvard's Brew house and other dining facilities. Combine the aforementioned resort activities with the festivals throughout the summer and fall, the July 4th weekend fireworks, Little Rock City, Griffis Sculpture Park, the shops and restaurants in downtown Ellicottville, the day spas, the Seneca Allegany Casino, the Red House and Quaker Run ares of the NY State Park, and the 5 other golf courses in the area; and you have one great destination for the entire family!
